Tapkeshwar Mahadev Temple is arranged on the bank of a waterway that adds to the magnificence of the blessed spot. It is otherwise called Tapekshwar Mahadev Temple, is a standout amongst the most well known sanctuaries committed to Lord Shiva. Arranged by the backwoods side, the principle shivalinga at the sanctuary is inside a natural cave. One of the most oldest Shivalings is in the cavern close-by where the river enters and water drops trickle down on the Shivaling.

The Tapkeshwar Mahadev sanctuary houses two shivlingas. Both these shivlingas are not man-made and have started to be naturally. A celebration is held here consistently. This celebration is known as Tapkeshwar fair. It is around 6.5km from the fundamental city of Dehradun. The temple is arranged on the Garhi Cantt Road and is 30.7 km from Jolly Grant Airport Dehradun, 9.7 km from ISBT Dehradun and 7.5 km from Railway Station Deharadun.
