Nainital Lake, a common freshwater body, arranged in the midst of the township of Nainital. This eye formed lake the primary attraction of Nainital is placed at a height of 1938 meter. The most extreme depth is 29 meter.
There is the Nainital Boat Club that offers yachting offices at the lake. The Annual Kingfisher Yachting Competition is held here in the third week of June.
