Mukteshwar
Mukteshwar, approx 55 kms from Nainital, is one of the most loved tourist destination as well as one of the cool adventures spots in Uttarakand. Mukteshwar is located at one of the highest peaks out of neighbouring mountains and you found yourself surrounded by high mountains here. You can feel the fresh air continuously flowing. If you want to spend some time in greenery, peace and with wonderful atmosphere then this place is highly recommended. Mukteshwar gets its name from approx. 350-year-old temple of Lord Shiva, known as Mukteshwar Dham, located at the top of the highest point in the town.
‘Chauli ki Jali’ is another popular spot here and it is famous for its eye catching sunset view. Here you will also find the opportunity to do some adventures like River Crossing, Mountain Climbing and Rappelling.
