Gohar Mahal
Gohar Mahal is one of the delightful palaces in Bhopal. Developed in the year 1820, on the banks of the Upper Lake, even though not entirely well maintained, still manages to maintain its majestic look and the past glory. Gohar Mahal is a wonderful castle fabricated by the first female leader of Bhopal – Gohar Begum. Gohar Mahal is a compositional wonder, which displays an immaculate mix of Hindu and Mughal Architecture. Remodel works are going ahead to hold the original grandeur of Gohar Mahal.
Location: Gohar Mahal arranged behind Shaukat Mahal, on the banks of the Upper Lake.
