Aga Khan Palace

Aga Khan Palace is one of the noticeable tourist attractions in Pune. Built by Sultan Muhammed Shah Aga Khan III, who wanted to give employment to the people hit by starvation. Inherent 1892, it is one of the greatest landmarks in Indian history.

Aga Khan Palace is a glorious building and is thought to be one of the best wonders of India. The royal residence is nearly linked to the Indian freedom Indian freedom movement as it served as a jail for Mahatma Gandhi, his wife Kasturba Gandhi, his secretary Mahadev Desaiand and Sarojini Naidu. It is likewise the spot where Kasturba Gandhi and Mahadev Desai died.

In 2003, Archeological Survey of India (ASI) announced the place as a landmark of national monument.

Entry charge : Rs. 2/ – per person for children and Rs. 5/ – per person for adults (Indian natives)
